Athena Foods owns the largest beef exporter and producer in Argentina, with five producing plants in different districts of the county and daily slaughtering capacity of 5,050 head of cattle. Swift Argentina carries out the most complete and rigorous quality and sanitary controls, from animal traceability and the entire industrial process to delivery of the final product to the point of sale.

Chile was chosen as Athena Foods’ host company for being one of the main markets in South America and having high standards of corporate governance. It has two distribution centers strategically located to meet an increasingly high demand.

Athena Foods’ industrial unit in Colombia has daily slaughtering capacity of 850 head of cattle and is located in Ciénaga de Oro, Colombia’s largest cattle producing region, with easy access to the main ports of the country.

Athena Foods has five industrial units in Paraguay, which, together, have a daily slaughtering capacity of 5,400 head of cattle, being one of the most important meatpacker in the country. The company seeks a closer relationship with cattle producers, creating relationships of trust with suppliers.
